HUNDREDS of Barclays users reported a service outage earlier today with customers unable to use the online banking service.
It came after a planned maintenance project on Sunday with more than 1,000 users reporting issues accessing online services, according to Downdetector.
Irate customers took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their frustration at the outage.
One said: "This doesn't look good - I need access to my account."
In a statement posted on X, Barclays said the issue had now been resolved.
It added: "Thank you for bearing with us - we really appreciate your patience."

Barclays fixes the problem - and thanks customers for their patience
In a statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, it said: "This morning's technical issues with Online Banking have been fixed and you can now log in as normal - thank you for bearing with us.
"We really appreciate your patience."

"If you're having problems logging into Online Banking right now - we're sorry.
"We're working to fix this and will update you here as soon as possible.
"In the meantime, you can still use all of our other services, including your app as normal.

"Thanks for bearing with us."
