Oh oh oh oh oh oh,
You don't have to go, oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go, oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go

Ay ay ay ay ay ay
All those tears I cry, ay ay ay ay
All those tears I cry, oh oh ah ay
Baby please don't go

When I read the letter you wrote me, it made me mad mad mad
When I read the news that it told me, it made me sad sad sad
But I still love you so
I can't let you go
I love you
Oh, baby I love you

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Every breath I take, oh oh oh oh
Oh, every move I make
Oh, baby please don't go

Ay ay ay ay ay ay
You hurt me to my soul, oh oh oh oh
You hurt me to my soul oh, oh
Darling please don't go

When I read the letter you sent me, it made me mad mad mad
When I read the news that it brought me, it made me sad sad sad
But I still love you so
And I can't let you go
I love you
Oh, baby I love you, oh

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go, oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go, oh oh oh oh
Oh, baby
Babe, please, please, please, please
Oh oh, oh oh, oh oh, baby
Oh oh, oh I really love you, baby

OH MY GOD!!! Is this not the sexiest song ever? I mean, Robert Plant is the sexiest guy and his moaning and groaning in this song are so sexual. The guitar solo makes me want to org*sm it's so great. I love when he screams-"Ooh, baby i love you, ahh!"

the title comes from a joke that goes something like this..."first man: 'my wife and i just got back from a week on an island in the Caribbean.'second man: 'Jamaica?'first man: 'no, she wanted to go.' "

like many other songs by Led Zeppelin, the title really has nothing to do with the lyrics, but the title sort of comes from the sound of the song, which is sort of a Zeppelinized pseudo-Reggae sound.

Didn't realize I was still such a Zeppelin fan till I read a few posts saying they didn't like this song. Made me think wow!, I can't think of one single Zeppelin song that I don't like. Every one is pretty damn great in a different way. A big part of this song's appeal is just the fact that it's so COMPLETELY unlike ANY of their other songs. No Viking imagery or stories of black magic here. The twisted title and Plant's excessive oh-oh-oh-ing are completely over the top. Who could've guessed these 4 blokes had such a bloody great sense of humor? LED ZEPPELIN WILL NEVER DIE! (And this is from someone who listens to DISCO now.)

Light Up The Sky Van Halen The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it. Standing On The Edge Of Summer Thursday In regards to the meaning of this song:Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.”That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul. Mental Istid Ebba Grön This is one of my favorite songs. https://fnfgo.io Magical Ed Sheeran How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner. Blue Ed Sheeran “Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
